Contractor Membership
The initiation fee is $350 for the Ohio/Michigan Chapter and
$150 for NECA National. Your check for $500 can be made payable
to the NECA, Ohio/Michigan Chapter, and forwarded to our office,
along with your completed application and contractor information
form. The National Association portion will be forwarded with
the application on your behalf. Though the chapter will consider
you a member at the time of application, sending the weekly
newsletter and inviting your firm to all membership meetings,
your actual membership will not be active until we receive
approval from NECA National.
Membership costs include monthly dues of $60.00 and a service charge of up to 1% of gross monthly payroll (currently .4% of gross payroll and A.M.F. is an additional .4%. NECA members will pay .8% in total.) for the first 75,000 hours each year. This charge is discounted 25% for 75,001 to 150,000 hours, and no service charges are due for the balance of the year after this threshold has been reached. Please do not pay the service charge on the payroll report until you receive notice from NECA National that your membership has been approved. .4% of gross payroll and A.M.F. is an additional .4% for a total of .8%

The current annual cost of the membership is $525, with the
first year dues to be paid with your application and payable
thereafter annually on the anniversary of your membership
acceptance. The membership will stand in the name of your firm,
with one individual being named as the Accredited
Representative. You will also be asked to designate an alternate
who may attend association functions if the regular member is
unavailable. If space is available, Associate Members may invite
additional persons to attend functions at an extra cost.
